Our Facilities & Features
Approximately 52' x 23' (16m x 6m) and suitable for up to 100 people (80 seated around tables). There are 80 upholstered chairs, 30 plastic chairs, '6 foot' (22) and '5 foot' (4) trestle tables and some square tables. There is both dimmable LED overhead lighting a and 'soft' wall lighting to suit different events. Also, there is a 2.7M X 2M pull-down projection screen.
Approximately 16' x 11' (5m x 3.5m) and suitable for up to 12 around a large table. There is also a white board.
Both Hall and Meeting Room have access to the kitchen and toilet facilities, included in the standard hire charge.
Containing stainless steel worktops, double sink/drainer with separate handwash basin, electric cooker, fridge/freezer, urn, microwave and kettles. There are dinner plates, side plates, bowls, cups, saucers, knives, forks and spoons (approximately 100 of each). The counter and hatch connecting to the main hall help with serving food and drinks.
Separate ladies, gents and disabled facilities containing a 'baby-change' unit.
Although principally for storage of tables and chairs, this room which opens onto the main hall can also be used (e.g. for serving drinks).
The hall has high speed wi-fi available for hirers. Details and passcodes are provided on the noticeboard in the main hall.
Heating for the whole building is included, provided by modern Smart electric heaters. The main hall has additional heaters operated by a £1 coin meter.
For your safety, we have installed smoke detectors and fire alarms. There are fire extinguishers in the hall, kitchen and beside the back door. The First Aid Kit is in the kitchen.
